Consumers who purchase two-stroke gasoline powered RedMax branded handheld products, including: chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers, pole pruners/saws and trimmers, for non-income producing personal use or household purposes, excluding commercial, agricultural, retail, industrial and rental usage types, can extend their product warranty from the standard 2 years to a total of 5 years limited warranty.

To extend the warranty by 3 years to a total of 5 years:
The consumer will need to take only two steps: First, the consumer must purchase at least 96 fluid oz of RedMax brand pre-mixed fuel at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. Second, the consumer must register their product online.*

To extend the warranty by 1 year to a total of 3 years:
The consumer will need to take only two steps: First, the consumer must purchase at least 6 bottles of RedMax brand 2-stroke oil regardless of size and/or type at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. Second, the consumer must register their product online.*

For multiple units purchased:
Each qualifying handheld product purchased must have an accompanying amount of 2-stroke oil or pre-mixed fuel added to the original receipt in order to qualify. For example, if a consumer purchases one EBZ5150 blower and a BCZ250S trimmer and would like to have them both qualify for a 5 year limited warranty, they will need to purchase at least 192 fluid oz of pre-mixed fuel (96 fluid oz for the blower and 96 fluid oz for the trimmer)..

*Consumers are required to keep their proof of purchase for the length of warranty should verification be needed. RedMax reserves the right to ask for this receipt prior to warranty work being performed.

Who’s Eligible?
Consumers who are using the products for non-income producing personal use or household purposes only. Extended warranty exclusions included but are not limited to commercial, agricultural, rental, industrial and rental usage types.

What’s Required?
(a) Qualified products sold after February 1, 2013 (b) Consumers must purchase fuel and/or oil on the same invoice/receipt as the qualifying handheld item. (c) Fuel and/or oil must be purchased on the same invoice/receipt as the qualifying handheld item. (d) Only online product registration offered for this program. (e) Consumer must submit a copy of the original invoice/ receipt online or by mail in to qualify. Consumers are required to keep their proof of purchase for the length of warranty should verification be needed. RedMax reserves the right to ask for this receipt prior to warranty work being performed.

Is Bar & Chain oil included in this extended warranty program?
No. Only 2-stroke oil is included in the program.
